What is the best exercise to lose weight? Is there one answer to this question that fits everybody? What do you think is the right answer? Running, walking, spin classes, dancing…the list goes on and on.
Best exercise to lose weight for you is the one you will do!
Now what do I mean by that, you may ask? Walking is my favorite choice, but maybe you would rather go to the aquatic center and take some robust laps around the pool. Lots of people would rather golf than go for a structured walk, if so, ditch the golf cart and carry the clubs. Would you rather pick up the pace and go for a brisk run? Hey, go for it as long as those knees hold out.
We give up so easily on exercise sometimes because we think we just can’t find the best exercise to lose weight. The act of moving the body burns calories, but continuous aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes benefits the large muscles, especially the heart.
It doesn’t have to be exhausting, but greater results are achieved if it is vigorous. To really put a push on getting rid of fat aim for 60 minutes of exercise three to five times a week. Not right off the bat, just work your way there. Remember, the body reaps great benefits even after the first 20 minutes.

Get busy, and don’t concentrate so much on the number of calories burned in a day, just burn some. Remember, weight loss will happen as long as you burn more calories than you take in. Key to that, monitor your food intake to maintain balance.
Drink plenty of water with your favorite exercise. Water is an energizer, a rehydrator, a revitalizer all the way around; not to forget that it makes you feel full while flushing the body of harmful fat deposits and toxins. The energy level benefits to proper water consumption are astounding. If you’re not sure about that, try it. The little quick formula of taking your body weight and dividing it by 2 gives you the approximate ounces of water you should consume in a day.
Eat right, exercise and rest are all main steps to getting in the best condition. Fit or aging, diabetic or healthy, most everyone interested in fitness can move the body.
Whatever you choose to do, the best exercise to lose weight is the one or two that “Keep” you moving…for life.
